Elwood Local is a free directory of businesses in Elwood, Indiana, with local news and events summarized from public sources and linked back to them. Reading the site is free.
Basic listings are free. We may add, edit, verify, decline or remove any listing at our discretion, including listings for businesses that have closed or moved. We work to keep details current, but listing information (hours, phone numbers, addresses, websites and so on) can change and may be incomplete or out of date. Please confirm important details with the business directly. Elwood Local has no star ratings and does not endorse any business.
If you claim or update a listing, you confirm that you own or are authorized to represent the business and that what you send us is accurate. You give us permission to publish the business information and any materials you provide for the listing. We verify claims before publishing changes.
Businesses can buy an optional Featured upgrade, which gives a listing more prominent placement (for example in the homepage Featured grid, first placement in the directory and its category, and a Featured badge). Current plans, pricing and what is included are described in our media kit and on the Stripe checkout page at the time of purchase. Payments are processed by Stripe and are subject to Stripe's terms.
Featured upgrades are subscriptions that renew automatically for the billing period you chose until cancelled. You can cancel at any time by emailing info@elwoodlocal.com; cancellation stops future renewals. Questions about a charge should be sent to info@elwoodlocal.com and we will work with you on them.
Featured placement does not change the accuracy rules: Featured listings are verified like every other listing. We may decline or end a Featured upgrade for content that is unlawful, misleading or inappropriate for a community site.
Please do not submit false, misleading, unlawful or abusive content; impersonate a business or person; try to disrupt or overload the site; or scrape or copy the directory in bulk for republication.
News items are summaries of public information in our own words with links to the original source. Links to other websites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content.
The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We do not guarantee that the site or its information will be accurate, complete, uninterrupted or error-free.
To the fullest extent the law allows, Elwood Local and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or reliance on any listing or news item.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute relating to these terms or the site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Indiana.
